PHONE LINES DOWN AT THE CITY OF PINOLE
Tuesday, June 25, 2024 - Our 911 and non-emergency lines are down again. The Contra Costa Sheriff's Office is answering 911 calls and transferring the calls to our Dispatch Center, which is operating on a secondary phone system.
On Saturday, June 22nd, the Pinole Police Department was alerted to a disruption in the 911 and business lines. This is the third disruption to have occurred this month. Officers responded to the call, which resulted in the arrest of two suspects. Read the full media release.
The majority of City of Pinole business lines are still down, and AT&T has informed us that there is no estimated time for restoration. The City continues to work with AT&T to forward several more lines to temporary devices. In the interim, please see key department contact information below.
