Fire Services

Fire and emergency medical services are provided in Pinole by the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District (CCCFPD, “Con Fire”).

In the event of an emergency dial 9-1-1

Pinole has two fire stations, Station 73 downtown, and Station 74 in Pinole Valley.

Background 
In October 2022, the City of Pinole entered an agreement with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District (CCCFPD, “Con Fire”) through with Con Fire provides fire protection services in Pinole on March 1, 2023, by operating Fire Station 73 and Fire Station 74 (located on Pinole Valley Road near the southeast border of the City). This arrangement is made possible by the County’s contribution of $2 million annually from Measure X proceeds.
