Citizen RIMS
Citizen RIMS is an interactive tool allowing the public increased access to call for service and arrest information, crime mapping, to submit a request for a vacation house watch and register security cameras in addition to other features. Some information will be limited and/or redacted pursuant applicable Government Codes and Penal Codes.
Past Activity: displays call for service/incident information on a map
Bulletin: a weekly report of incidents (nature of call, location, and disposition)
Missing Persons: displays missing people on a rolling 365-day basis
Stolen Vehicles: displays reported stolen vehicles
Arrest Log: displays publicly available arrest information on a 14-day rolling basis
Any person who uses this information to commit a crime or to harass a suspect/arrestee, or his or her family may be subject to criminal prosecution and civil liability
Media Releases: active media releases will be posted for seven days
Vacation House Watch: Request a check of your property during times when your residence is vacant due to business or vacation trips
The Police Department and the City do not assume any liability for loss or damage to property
Surveillance Camera Registration: allows residents and business owners to voluntarily register surveillance cameras with the police department
Police will not have access to the camera systems, but will be aware a camera exists when investigating a crime in or around the area
