Coffee With A Cop
Community policing is the foundation for establishing relationships
between the community and the police. The importance of trust between
officers and residents is paramount for a safe community.
Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity for the police and the community
members to come together in an informal, neutral environment to discuss
community issues and build relationships. One of the keys to Coffee with
a Cop's success is it removes the physical barriers between officers
and residents, and happens outside of the crisis situations that
routinely define interactions between law enforcement officials and
community members. Instead it allows for relaxed, informal one-on-one
interactions in a friendly atmosphere.
Coffee with a Cop will be held once a month at locations throughout the
City of Pinole 8-10 AM on the second Wednesday of the month.
