Swim Center Updates

Please read and take note of the new standards and procedures that we will have in place for use of the pool this season.


1. We are going to be pre-screening swimmers before entering the pool, please be prepared to have your temperature checked and to answer a few screening questions as well as signing a waiver including address and phone number for contact tracing if a positive case should arise.
2. Patrons will be required to wear facial coverings when visiting the swim center.
3. Patrons can remove their facial coverings when they enter the pool but they must wear them on deck.
4. Patrons must remain 6 ft apart from all other patrons and staff with the exception of those who live in their household.
5. Please help us limit our exposure by bring exact change, or a personal check.
6. All swimmers must be pre-showered, and ready to swim, the locker rooms will not be available for use. We do have a family bathroom for use, but please limit it to restroom use only. Not to be used for changing. We do have 2 outside showers if the need arises to use a shower.
7. Our Prices have increased $7.00/rec swimmer and/or non-swimmer and $4.00 lap swimmer.
8. Based on County guidelines total patrons on deck is not to exceed 165.
9. 1 lap swimmer per lane with a 30 min. maximum time limit per swimmer.
10. No more than 61 swimmers will be allowed in the pools at one time.
11. Reservations are not accepted. Lap swim and rec swim are available on a first come, first serve basis. 

Patrons who refuse to participate in pre-screening process, wear a mask while in City facilities, or refuse to maintain social distancing will be asked to leave the facility by the Pinole Seals management team .

Summer Hours of operation will be:

  June 10- Aug 13

Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday
12pm - 1pm Lap Swim
1pm - 4pm Rec Swim

Friday and Saturday
       12pm - 1pm Lap Swim
       1pm - 6pm Rec Swim

Sunday
       12pm - 1pm Lap Swim
          1pm - 4pm Rec Swim

Please be patient as this is a learning process for us all and we are doing the best that we can to ensure that all patrons and employees can use the pool safely.
