Trail Closure at Bayfront Park and Pinole Shores

There is a closure on the Bay Trail located near Bayfront Park and Pinole Shores due to storm damage. Earlier this year, a major storm-related landslide occurred, causing structural damage to the trail leaving it impassable. The trail requires major repairs. East Bay Regional Parks District is currently assessing possible solutions and conducting geotechnical analysis to determine what repairs are needed and potential costs.
