Storm Update

Storm Update March 20, 2023
Posted on 01/06/2023

More rain is expected starting Wednesday, March 21st. The forecast is calling for 8 tenths of an inch spread out through the day. Winds are anticipated to be between 10 and 20 miles hour.

At this time, Public Works does not expect flooding to occur, however, City staff will continue to monitor the situation throughout the week and update citizens should the situation change.

In the unlikely event that standing water is encountered inside a residence, promptly vacate the building, and call 9-1-1.

Stay away from downed power lines, assume they are energized and extremely dangerous and call 9-11 or PG&E at 1-800-743-5002.

Public Works has made sand and sandbags available, for Pinole residents only, at the Plum Street parking lot near the Public Safety Building.

Residents may also wish to monitor the situation via the Contra Costa County Community Warning System at https://cwsalerts.com/
