PGE Public Safety Power Shut Off - ALERT UPDATE

PG&E has relayed a notice of pending widespread and strong offshore winds this week which may result in a De-energization of power to counties in Northern California and Central Valley.  Areas which may be impacted include Alameda, Butte, Colusa, Contra Costa, Glenn, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, San Benito, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Shasta, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Tehama, and Yolo Counties based on current weather models.

PG& E is continuing to reach out to its customers and communities about wildfire safety and steps they can take to prepare their homes, families and businesses.  Additionally, as precautionary measures following the 2017 and 2018 wildfires, PG&E  is expanding its Public Safety Power Shutoff program beginning with the 2019 wildfire season.  

Please have a professional electrician do any work to add back-up power generation to your home
